Experience Mother Nature's brilliance as you cruise across the pristine waters of Lake Mapourika and into the remote estuaries of the Okarito Kiwi Sanctuary. During the journey, you'll be treated to expansive vistas of snow-peaked mountains and glistening glaciers in the horizon. You'll then hop off the boat and begin the trail through this Jurassic-like rainforest along a custom-built track. Feel like you're worlds away as you enter into a green wonderland, brimming with towering trees and curious birdlife including the rarest kiwi on the planet - the Rowi. It is nothing short of magical!

This experience operates in most weather conditions, it’s extremely unlikely that the tour will be cancelled. The boat is warm, dry and fully protected from the weather and wet weather gear is available if required.
Sturdy footwear is recommended and walking poles are available for the walk.
