Home to a wonder-filled mix of remote wilderness, soaring mountains and river valleys, the World Heritage-listed Mount Aspiring National Park is truly awe-inspiring. Travel to the picturesque township of Glenorchy from Queenstown for a thrilling adventure amongst nature! You'll first motor up the Dart River deep into the heart of the Mount Aspiring National Park on an exhilarating jet boat ride. Then, you'll swap the motor for a paddle and embark on a relaxing inflatable canoe tour with your expert guides.
As you float peacefully downstream along the waters from the Southern Alps to Lake Whakatipu, you'll explore tucked-away channels, streams and rock pools, and take in the native flora and fauna of the area. Take a breather on the river's edge and savour a picnic lunch as well as the songs of the native birds around you. Your adventure ends with a transfer back to Queenstown through some of New Zealand's most renowned filming locations such as the Lord of the Rings.
