Get ready to tick off three bucket list experiences in a single day with this must-do adventure in New Zealand. Start with a thrilling 15-minute helicopter flight over picturesque rivers and mountains, with views of Mount Aspiring National Park. Here you'll land at the beginning of a track for a self-guided, three-hour hike through New Zealand’s remote alpine environment. Conclude your adventure with an exhilarating 30-minute jet boat ride across pristine rivers, surrounded by native beech forests and rugged ice-capped mountains. This unforgettable journey combines the best of flight, hiking, and jet boating.
Please allow five hours for this experience.
You must be of moderate fitness to take part in this activity and have the ability to hike 7.5km continuously for approximately three hours. There are both up and downhill sections of the hike.
Minimum numbers of two passengers for the Helicopter and five passengers for the Jet Boat apply. If on the day min numbers are not met, another activity will be offered.
This activity is not suited for spectators due to it taking place in the National Park
This activity can be subject to weather. All pilots are highly skilled and trained to read weather conditions and understand our mountain environment. If the weather is looking unsuitable or unpredictable and safety is an issue, another option or reschedule your flight may occur. The call to fly is up to the Pilot in Command and their specialist opinion is final. in this matter.
New Zealand weather can change often, so ensure you bring a warm wind rain/windproof outer layer and suitable walking shoes/hiking boots. Please also bring a day pack with water, snacks or lunch, sunglasses, hat, sun screen, insect repellent, and hiking poles if you usually use them.
