Experience a 2.5 hour guided tour of Hobbiton by a trained professional who will show you through the 12 acres of countryside and explain where different parts of the film were made. See the famous Hobbit Holes, the Mill and be treated to a Hobbit beverage in the famous Green Dragon Inn.
Enjoy a scenic 2 hour drive from Auckland to Waikato with stops for photos en route. On arrival, visit the Hobbiton Gift Shop and grab a drink or a snack at the Shire's Rest Cafe.
Your guide will then escort you around the Hobbit movie set, showing the intricate detailing, pointing out the most famous locations and explaining how the movie magic was made.
You will be fully guided around the 12 acre set; past Hobbit Holes, the Mill and into the world-famous Green Dragon Inn, where you will be presented with a complimentary, exclusive beverage to conclude your own Middle-earth adventure.

In the event, you have purchased a Group tour and subsequently wish to cancel it, Auckland & Beyond Tours may refund your booking at its sole discretion, in which event you will be charged a cancellation fee as follows: a. 7 – 10 days prior to the date of the tour – 25% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges. b. 3 – 6 days prior to the date of the tour – 50% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges. c. 48 hours or less will be charged 100% of the ticket.
