Venture through secret bays, sunken ships and sea caves as you embark on a sea kayaking adventure. Starting at Lyttelton Harbour, you'll make your way to Quail Island the largest island in the harbour rich with local history. A picnic lunch on a remote beach is provided.
Begin your day at the top of Port Hills at Dyre's Pass summit observing the sensational view where you will be provided with a photo opportunity. Then head to the beach, to start your sea kayaking adventure. You'll immerse your kayak into the water where your guide will show you some basic paddle strokes, before heading off to Quail Island passing by gorgeous bays and spotting native wildlife along the way. You will be guided past a ship's graveyard rich in local history on the way to one of the many remote beaches for a delicious picnic lunch. Then indulge at your own pace, relax peacefully by the beach or continue exploring Quail Island's hidden treasures with your guide. Make your way back for some afternoon tea and enjoy some time to sit back and reflect the memorable day had.
Minimum age is eight years.
