Milford Sound, often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world, is one of New Zealand’s must see destinations. With its magical combination of mountain peaks and deep blue waters, there is nothing quite like it. Your day will begin with complimentary pick up from your Queenstown accommodation in a premium Mercedes van, fully equipped with large panoramic windows, on board videos and Wi-Fi, built for your ultimate comfort. As you travel in style, take in the magnificent scenery alongside Lake Wakatipu before heading inland to Te Anau and further venturing into the picturesque Fiordland National Park.
Once you arrive in Milford Sound, you will be captivated by the surrounding mountain peaks and plummeting waterfalls. Enjoy a relaxing two-hour cruise down the fjord and remember to keep an eye out for fur seals, penguins and occasionally and dolphins! During your nature cruise enjoy the fun and informative commentary from your local guide. Each tour is limited to a maximum of 16 participants to ensure that your experience is intimate. The Milford Sound Day Tour departs Queenstown daily at 7:30am and returns around 7:30pm.

In the event of rain or inclement weather, your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. If your experience is cancelled due to adverse weather, you will be rescheduled by the provider.
Due to the changeable nature of the weather in Milford, it is recommended to bring a waterproof jacket, warm clothing and comfortable shoes.
Please bring along a camera to document your day in the spectacular Milford Sound. A packed picnic lunch is included and this includes a chicken sandwich. If you would like to change this to a beef or vegetarian sandwich, or advise any dietary requirements, you can do this up until 5pm the day prior.
