Calling all adrenaline seekers! If you're wanting to really test your limits, head to The Nevis Catapult, the biggest and most extreme human catapult in the world! After a briefing, you'll be securely strapped into the contraption before being launched 150 metres across the Nevis Valley, reaching speeds of almost 100km/h in 1.5 seconds flat. Experience all the thrills of up to 3Gs of force, followed by an exhilarating rebound. By the end of the ride, you'll be screaming for another hit.
Session Length
- Please allow four hours in total for this experience
- Departs Thursday to Monday at 8:40am, 10am & 12pm from Queenstown
- Please check in 30 minutes prior to your confirmed departure time
Restrictions
Not suitable for those who are pregnant.
Guidelines
- Minimum 13 years old. Children 14 and under require an adult to sign consent at check-in and accompany them on their experience.
- Minimum weight 45kg, maximum weight is 127kg
Cancellation
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
Spectators
Spectators are welcome to join for a fee of $50 per person. Please arrange directly with the provider at the time of booking.
Dress Code
Please ensure you wear flat, secure and enclosed footwear. Winter can get cold, so it is recommended to layer-up and take a jacket.
This experience takes place 45 minutes from Queenstown.
