Soak in the beauty of this pristine and secluded reserve before arriving at Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake), Rotorua most recreational lake. From here, you'll head to the iconic Lake Tarawera where you'll view the mighty Mount Tarawera volcano and learn about the devastating eruption and the effects it had on the land and people.

This experience runs in all weather conditions, however they will not enter the lake if waves are higher than 40cm or if conditions are extreme upon arrival.
Make sure you also dress for the conditions. The provider has heaters, blankets and roll down sides but it is always better to be prepared with warm clothes on the cooler days.
