Your full day journey begins with an 80 minute boat ride from Auckland or a quick 25 minute trip from Gulf Harbour. The cruise through the shimmering waters of Tikapa Moana sets the stage for the discoveries that await you. Once you step onto the island, explore the regenerating forests and encounter rare bird species, including the endangered kokako and takahe, thriving after being successfully reintroduced. This sanctuary is free from pests, providing a haven for native wildlife.
Wander along the scenic tracks that wind past dramatic cliffs, lush bush and secluded beaches to settle in over your four to six hours on the island teeming with natural wonders.
